Confirmation

To guarantee your booking we ask that you confirm your reservation to us by writing, or email. We will also require your credit card details, a £50 non-returnable deposit will be held on file in order to secure the room. The remainder of account to be settled on departure. We accept Amex, Visa, Mastercard and Switch but regret that cheques can only be accepted if supported by a valid cheque card.

Cancellation policy

We require seven clear working days written advance notice of any cancellation. If shorter or no notice is given we will charge your credit card in full. If however, the room is re-let to another customer we will only charge for any shortfall. Every reasonable effort is made to re-let the room in the event of a short notice cancellation.

Check in/out times

Immediate occupancy of the rooms cannot be guaranteed before 4.30pm on day of arrival. Please let us know if you intend to arrive late in the evening. Rooms should be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure unless alternative arrangements have been made.

Car parking: There is ample parking in the grounds. No smoking : Chequers is strictly non smoking within the rooms. Please note you are quite welcome to bring your own alcohol although there will be a service charge added to your final bill. Chequers reserves the right to alter it's published rates and Terms & Conditions if necessary and without notice.
